Ciberbizz?

Ciberbizz has a short history as a brand, but a long past in the industry.

Its founder has been active in the technology and digital solutions sector for over 30 years, having founded his first technology company, Cibersoft, as early as 1996.

After more than two decades dedicated to Psychology, scientific research and applied studies, and several years involved in diverse digital and technological projects, the opportunity emerged to build something new — this time as a collaborative journey between father and son.

His son, after completing a professional secondary course in programming, pursued higher professional education in web development and multimedia. This combination of experience, academic background and technical execution created a strong and natural synergy.

Today, supported by a network of specialised external professionals, Ciberbizz develops tailor-made digital solutions designed to adapt and evolve within a constantly changing technological landscape.

Experience a new age of intelligence

At Ciberbizz, we believe technology should serve people, not the other way around.

Our approach combines experience, research and creativity to design digital solutions that are practical, scalable and meaningful. From interactive avatars to web platforms and digital experiences, every project is treated as a living system — designed to grow, adapt and improve over time.

We do not follow trends blindly. We study them, test them and apply them where they make sense.

In a world of constant change, our focus remains on clarity, functionality and long-term value  building digital solutions that are both technically sound and human-centred.

Our Approach

We are grounded in experience, research and adaptability.

We combine strategic thinking, design and technology to develop digital solutions that are built in phases, tested in real-world contexts and refined over time. This allows each project to evolve naturally while remaining technically solid and future-ready.

Our Mission

Design and deliver meaningful digital solutions that serve people, organisations and communication needs.

By blending creativity, technical expertise and human-centred thinking, we aim to transform ideas into functional digital systems that add long-term value in a constantly changing technological landscape.

Our Vision

We envision a future where digital technology is intuitive, ethical and deeply connected to human experience.

Ciberbizz strives to be a trusted partner in the development of intelligent digital solutions helping organisations navigate change, adopt innovation responsibly and build systems that can grow and adapt over time.

My first computer was a Sinclair ZX Spectrum 16K.
From that moment on, I never stopped having a symbiotic relationship with computing , both in software and hardware. Over the years, I have been involved in multiple technology projects, and even during my academic path in Psychology and Scientific Research, I remained deeply connected to computing. In 2011, within the scope of a colleague’s PhD, I developed my first digital avatar. It was a rudimentary system capable of replicating basic facial expressions, but it opened the door to an entirely new world.

Since then, I have been developing projects involving AI-driven avatars, chatbots, HTML5 quizzes, augmented reality and virtual reality for clients around the world. Many of these projects are protected by NDAs and are presented under the names of other companies or institutions. That has never been an issue for me — at the end of the day, what matters is the work being done properly.

Along this journey, I have also been involved in several non-digital businesses, including Airbnb local accommodation, condominium cleaning services, and even DJ agency management (don’t ask). These experiences gave me a practical understanding of operations, logistics and the fragility of purely physical business models.

The COVID-19 pandemic was a serious blow to everything that depended on physical presence. That moment reinforced a conviction I already had: whenever possible, processes, services and experiences should be dematerialised. Digital solutions are not just more scalable,  they are more resilient. In many ways, I consider myself a technology ghost writer, present behind the scenes, focused on delivering results rather than recognition.

Outside of technology, my main hobby is powerlifting. At 50 years old, I continue to pursue world-class elite PRs in my age class, one day at a time.

I grew up watching my father build things on computers.
There are videos of me at three years old using Google. I barely spoke until that age  and when I did start talking, I began reading almost immediately after. I started typing on a computer at around three and a half years old. I used to search Google for things like cheese, chocolate and my mother’s name. Don’t ask me why. As I grew up, I never really knew what I wanted to do  except playing on the PlayStation and the PC. When the time came to choose a path, I enrolled in a professional secondary course in Programming. For my final project, I built a data scraper that mined results from three football leagues, powered by artificial intelligence  combining programming with another passion of mine: football statistics.

I am currently studying Web Development and Multimedia in a CTeSP (Higher Professional Technical Course) at the School of Technology and Management of the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo.

I still don’t fully know what I want to do in the future, so for now I help my father with his avatars and whatever else he needs, mostly because he tells me to. (He asked for an honest bio!)
